KILL THE ARCADE is a roguelite shooter that is set in a fully functioning arcade.
You play as Kidd, an employee at Arcadia, the local arcade. One day the owner purchases a mysterious new game no one has heard of. That game is SINISTER.
As you go to investigate this new machine, something strange occurs. Suddenly you are surrounded by all the characters of the arcade games, but for real. You have no choice but to start blasting, hope you can can end this bizarre turn of events.
- Build your weapon from scratch
- Unlock parts, weapons, tools, and toys from the PRIZE ROOM
- Talk to all manner of strange "people" inhabiting the arcade
- Help fix up the arcade by adding new machines the more you play
- All machines in arcade FULLY PLAYABLE (eventually...)
- Game gets harder as you play, unlocking tougher enemies

What does the wallet do and the other things you see in your room that you can equip?
Cool game, but there is one thing.
The game is difficult, and sometimes even impossible due to the number of opponents. The entire small arena is filled with small enemies in incredible numbers, and if you're lucky, then also the shooters from which you must somehow dodge. Also, food that restores health and items that make you stronger are sold in limited quantities, which makes you play almost perfectly in order to somehow survive. But I still managed and miraculously reached the end in order to get an inscription that the complexity of the game has increased and one lit heart out of four at the entrance to our room. Does the game need to be completed three more times (like in Dead Cells) or is it just endless?
As for the mini-games, no complaints. Easy fun + a way to earn tickets to unlock game content, but it's not clear how to play them the first time.
All in all, a good time killer. I'm even wondering what will come out of this, because it's a demo version or something. Only six months have passed and there has been no news about the game. I hope the creator is still alive and successfully continues to develop his game.
I will be posting an updated version soon. New weapons, enemies, and a brand new 'powerup' system that helps make the game a bit easier.
As of now there are 4 difficulty 'loops', but that's all for now. It just gets a little harder 4 times. Eventually it will be more in depth, like different bosses for each loop. The way enemies spawn now can get pretty hectic, my advice is to buy all the bombs and use them for when you are pretty much cornered. Also the soda machine can be helpful in the later waves.
Since there are a lot of references to old games here I'd LOVE for you guys to add a hidden easter egg (like the konami code) and there could be fake/wrong codes too. Like if you type another code in the wrong room you'd get reduced speed. If you type it in another room, you'd get like +5 speed or something. or more damage. anyway, great game!
I have a whole mechanic planned where you plug a Game Genie/Gameshark into the arcade to input codes. It's gonna be crazy.
hey i found a bug where if you keep moving toward the owner and talk with him before you stop, you keep walking past him and through walls. The dialogue can't progress and you'd need to exit and come back to continue. Hope this gets fixed. Also I love the game it's awesome

hey how do you get the items you buy from the prize room i cant find them and/or cant activate them. could i get some help on this i might just be dumb tho
The stuff you buy is just added to the machines automatically. Whatever you buy now has a random chance of being in the vending machine or the crane game. I should probably make that clearer.
Except the "gear", which will appear in the bedroom and you can equip before a run. Also there is some special items, like the coin jar which also appears in the room.

Hii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^
-The concept of the game is really original and works really nice for a rogue lite game ^^-The gameplay mechanics are really interesting, solid and fun. That combined with the enemies design makes the game feel quite awesome while playing :)ç
-The visual style totally fits the theme of the game and gives it a lot of personality.

only thing i could think could be better is moving faster before you start the enemy waves that run
